The
point to keep in mind when faced with a spill on your carpets
is, NOT TO PANIC!
Probably
all is not lost, in fact it is estimated that approximately 90% of all
common household stains can be completely removed, even
on natural fiber's like cotton, linen or wool. However, success
depends largely on whether the correct 'emergency steps' are taken. Great
care needs to be taken so as to avoid making the classic mistakes, which
so often proves to cause irreparable damage.
So don't despair when you have an accidental
spill, however bad it looks, just remember to implement the following
Do's and Don'ts: |

| CAUTION: Your next action will
determine whether this stain will become a permanent one! |
|
DON'T
BELIEVE IN MIRACLES !
We
strongly advise all our customers NOT to use 'miracle' stain
remedies,
because they
have sometimes been known to chemically react in a way that actually sets
the stain forever. The stain thus becomes permanently bonded to the
carpet fiber's, never to be removed, not even by a professional carpet
cleaner.
Another undesirable
characteristic of using domestic DIY solutions is the 're-soiling' effect. This
occurs due to the sticky
shampoo-like residue which is usually always left deep in the carpet pile. A
surface discoloration becomes increasingly noticeable on the area of carpet which
has been 'cleaned'. It attracts dirt like a magnet!

Consider
for a moment. . .
Your
carpets would cost hundreds if not thousands of pounds to replace, does it really make sense to
risk setting a stain, in an effort to save just a
few pounds?
